"The Rosary is my favorite prayer,
it's a wonderful prayer,
marvelous in simplicity and depth,
to recite the Rosary is nothing other than to contemplate with Mary the face of Christ.
The events of the life of Christ are not only a yesterday, they are the today of salvation. "Saint John Paul II

Rosary and rosary prayers
I believe in God the Almighty Father, creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ his Only Son, our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, to suffer under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died was buried, descended into hell, on the third day rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, from where he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, in the holy Catholic Church, in the communion of Saints, in the remission of sins, in the resurrection of the flesh, in eternal life.
Amen
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and do not allow us to succumb to temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen
I greet you Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you, you are blessed among all women and Jesus the fruit of your womb is blessed. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us poor sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen
Glory to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning now and always and forever and ever.
Amen
History of the Rosary
In the first millennium, the “Psalter of Christ” was a Christian prayer consisting in reciting one hundred and fifty Our Father, in reference to the one hundred and fifty psalms in the Bible. In order not to lose count, the faithful used a necklace of one hundred and fifty grains, named “patenôtre”, an instrument of piety which is at the origin of current rosaries. Around the eleventh century, by analogy, the "Psalter of the Virgin" developed, consisting of a series of one hundred and fifty Ave.
